Tri-County Women's Centre

A strong feminist voice in Tri-Counties since 2002

The Tri-County Women's Centre opened its doors to the women of Yarmouth, Shelburne, and Digby in April 2002. As a volunteer, community based, not for profit women’s organization, Tri-County Women’s Centre’s goal is to offer services to women and adolescent girls who are at risk of poverty and struggling to achieving success in their education or work environment. We strive to be as accessible as possible to reach women and girls throughout the Tri-Counties by offering programs, satellite offices, a toll free number and a primary location in Yarmouth. By providing the tools to intervene in a crisis women and girls face, we are able to relieve poverty and barriers in their lives and assist them in moving forward in achieving their educational and work goals.
